    The ASTL Concentration Area focused on equipping me with research-based, best practices in developing the literacy of Pre-K-12 students.  Literacy and Reading are crucial skills needed to learn the different academic disciplines.  Learning success can be guaranteed when students are taught different skills and strategies to interact with the texts they use.  In this section, visitors will be able to view projects that dealt with building my students' literacy skills.
