EDRD 631~Advanced Literacy Foundations and Instruction Adolescence through Adulthood

     Understanding the factors that affect adolescents' motivation to learn requires a deeper look.  Providing instruction that takes into consideration adolescent students' view of learning and their realities allows teachers like me to individualize our approach to teaching and affect our students' engagement and motivation to learn from the learning experience we shape in our classroom and the conversations we engage them in.

EDRD 632~Literacy Assessments and Interventions for Groups

      In this course, I further developed my skills in using  different types of assessments to measure my students' literacy skills.  Having the ability to successfully use data enabled me to properly plan for instruction that target areas that students need to improve.
