Role of Assessment in Progress Monitoring

     This paper outlines the professional development I planned for my co-workers as part of the literacy plan I proposed at my school for the school year 2011-2012.  The reading and literacy program was extended the following school year to continue the progress monitoring I initiated to track students' reading achievement and use the data we have to plan for instruction.
